We supply these Alloy Steel Gr 9 Bars in accordance with DIN, ISO, JIS or ANSI Standard.
Alloy Steel Gr 9 Bars serve applications as varied as the industries that use them, led chiefly by the aerospace, railway, construction and automotive industries along with petrochemical, nuclear, medical, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Nuclear, Thermal Power plants, Paper and Pulp, marine and mining, etc.
Alloy Steel Grade 9 Bars, notwithstanding their resistance to corrosion, can be prone to galvanic corrosion in specific circumstances. Galvanic corrosion happens when two dissimilar metals or alloys are in electrical contact while an electrolyte (like moisture) is present. Should Alloy Steel Grade 9 Bars make direct contact with a more noble metal (like aluminum or stainless steel) within a conductive setting, galvanic corrosion can result. To reduce this risk, adequate insulation or employing compatible materials in assemblies is advised to avoid direct contact between unlike metals and lessen the likelihood of galvanic corrosion.
